Home Expectations
The final thing to do is to take a moment to lay out your expectations for your home.
We've found that many conflicts can be avoided by simply stating preferences at the outset.
Answer these questions together.
How do you feel about non-roommates staying overnight at your home? Are there any bad experiences you'd like to avoid? This is your opportunity to state if you're uncomfortable with some dude crashing on your couch for free for two weeks.
How do you feel about hosting people at your home? Are there any bad experiences you'd like to avoid? Maybe the carpet you brought is a family heirloom and can't be doused with beer.
How do you feel about the cleanliness of your home? Are there any bad experiences you'd like to avoid? This is your opportunity to state if dirty dishes left in the sink for 10 days drive you insane.
How do you feel about the noise levels in your home? Are there any bad experiences you'd like to avoid? Maybe you can only fall asleep to death metal and you want your roommates to let you know if it's too loud.
Any other expectations you'd like to set?

You'll get an email from us shortly laying out these expectations!
