Juris Update #2

The Juris team has been hard at work over here, and we’re excited to share some updates on what we’ve been up to since last you heard from us.

Hello Everyone!

First and foremost, we’re excited to announce a new partner: https://daisydebt.org

Daisy Debt is a non-profit, “dedicated to stopping unlawful practices by debt collection agencies.” Everyone knows that debt is a problem, but you probably don’t realize how expansive, layered, and insidious it truly is. We have been working with Daisy Debt for a little while now, and we can’t wait to share our progress. If you’ve got a few minutes, this piece from Last Week Tonight does a great job breaking down the problem we’re targeting:

Next up, some stuff to read:

Law 360 has published a piece by Juris CEO, Adam Kerpelman looking at how shaking up the way we think about legal work can lead to greater access to justice.

We’ve also got a new post up on the Juris Medium Page along the same lines. There’s a Gold Rush of Legal Work Coming. Be Ready

On the blockchain/cryptocurrency side:

Juris CTO, Konstantin was featured in a post on Finance Magnates talking about the possibilities of cryptocurrency integrated with platforms like Facebook Messenger.

And of course, we’ve got podcast episodes:

Juris Podcast 002 – with Matt Slater – Investor, Synapse Capital – Decentralized Exchanges and Democratized Investment

Juris Podcast 003 – Regulation of Free Speech on Social Media – with Juris General Counsel, Ethan Mackay

As always, thank you for following the Juris Project.
